I have two IBM HDDs in my (supposedly) quiet PC. Having just rebuilt this PC due to the previous motherboard failing I put the case back together and noticed a resonating noise coming from the case. I.e. I though there was an twin-prop aeroplane flying nearby.
I have two IBM 7200rpm HDDs in drive bays next to each other which I put my hand on either are vibrating quite vigoursly!
I have no option to move the drives as there are only two bays.
What would be the best options to dampen the resonance?
