i recently formatted, cleaned out everything, and installed winxp pro, b4 i had both xp and 98se. now my cpu is making more noise than it usually did. plus, at time of installin xp, my cd-drive was gonna blow i thnk, (it didn't blow)..
i have 3 partions, i accidently installed xp on C:
c is 2 gb(last xp installed, didn't remove it yet, it was laggin hard when i was using it),
d is 4.87 gb(current xp is installed),
g is 12.1 gb(nothing on it yet)
e and f are cd-rom and cd-rw

anything?

What do you mean you "accidently installed XP to C:"? Your boot drive should always be C:. Programs want to install to the C drive. You'll spend a lot of time browsing to tell the program where to install. You can't changhe the drive letter, either. Don't reaqlly understand your problems, but I recommend you delete your partitions, formoat, and start again.
