HDD is not recognised when trying to create recovery drive

No Drivers missing

Drivers are missing. No ifs, no buts.

(I doubt that fixing *those* drivers will make any difference to the problem in the OP, but still, those missing drivers should be addressed if you want your laptop to work properly in general)

The Hitachi drive is now listed as a disk drive. That's new. So what does the recovery setup show now?

I have sorted it. I just needed to assign a Drive letter to disk 2 in Disk Management

Yeah. Looking around on the internet the PCI driver looked like it may have been an Intel Chipset driver. Maybe that was the fix after all. 🤷‍♂️
