HD6950 Crossfire

Right now I have a single Sapphire HD6950(2GB)(Model: 100312FLEX) and I wanted to get another one to run crossfire. The problem is, on newegg the model is out of stock and the other similar model is deactivated...I know you can run crossfire with different models, but what should I look out for to make sure they're running efficiently?

Should I just make sure the clock speeds are the same or what?

I would suggest paying close attention to the cooler design, as one of those card will be stuffed up the other cards DIMM slot. Unless you are going to get water blocks for both 😀

Yeah try to find one with similar clocks, and the same vramm amount.
