HD4870/ATI Catalyst Problems?

Hi Guys,

I am using Powercolor HD4870 and Catalyst drivers / software with my Dell 20" 2001FPW monitor and my 42" Sharp Aquos 1080p TV as the extended display. Monitors have different resolutions if this matters. But anyhow, recently I installed UltraMon software for dual monitors and I'm not sure if this is happening since I installed it or if there is some other reason for it but for the past 3 boot ups my main monitor boots up without the windows task bar / start menu button and my extended display does not work until I disable/enable it and in order for my task bar to come back up I have to disable my 2nd display.

Also, recently I am having a problem that my monitor does not turn itself back on out of power saving mode. My power options in the control panel are set to High Performance and I do have "Allow this device to wake the computer." checked in Device Manager under the mouse and keyboard properties. This really sucks because I have to restart my PC to get my monitor to turn itself back on.

Did anyone have any similar problems? Please help
 
I had something like that happen for a while on my old CRT, so annoying! I finally ended up switching the DVI port and its worked ever since.
