I got the chance to download Monsters Inc. HD last night. But, I have no idea how to watch it. I double click it, and it is supposed to open with Quicktime, as it has the .mpg extension, and I get an error saying that it is not a file Quicktime understands.

I am dumb when it comes to these things. Can someone help me out? 🙂

VLC Player or Media Player Classic

his server doesn't allow resuming...

It thinks you are trying to overwrite the file or something and locks it:|

Smartftp tries to resume it like I said, bur argh...🙁

Let me try that one then....

The movie won't start up. Maybe my computer doesn't meet the system requirements to watch HD? 😕 I am still on a 400mhz G4 Mac with 768mb of RAM, and stock 16mb ATI AGP video card. 😕

Geez, I thought my 2GHz A64 with 2GB of RAM and 256mb x800XT was paltry compared to some of the other systems on this board!

Lol, I doubt that will even happen. I clicked play, and the blank screen went on for 24 seconds, and then the black screen just disappeared, and VLC quit itself. lol

Yeah sorry.... Ultra allows resuming downloads but not uploads (I used download resume alot so assumed uploading resume would work as well). Resuming downloads works perfectly fine though.

Bah... torrent?

highly unlikely that you'll get a "pure" HD clip ...

most shows captured in HD are run through DivX to compress the file

That's unfortunate. I guess I'll start with the ones on the ftp and see what else I can find through other sources...
