MBrown - you are very welcome for the vids. I'm glad you enjoyed them, and I will say the Carrera GT might be my favorite car of all time - insane exhaust note!

oh, i can imagine how much computing power would be needed. heh. it's the other reason why I don't have the camera (notice how it mostly has to do w/ cashflow :p). Also, bandwidth to distribute. i'm stuck w/ my 3CCD panasonic and downsizing to 512 x whatever in xvid and using google video.

Xionide - Thanks for the suggestion, I had not thought of that. I think maybe you're right....glad you liked the vids.

ed21x - You should come down to the show sometime, it really is amazing. As for the bandwidth, it sounds like you are trying to stream the videos, and streaming HD videos really does not work well at all. I highly recommend you save to your hard drive first and then play them. You should get very very good speeds while downloading.

randomlinh - I see that more manufacturers are introducing lower priced HD cameras, and I think a PCI card is coming out before long that will do a lot of the video processing for you to help with editing. Also the new dual-core AMD chips can do it. It seems like HD is beginning to take off, which I hope it does - the quality is so much easier on the eyes. :)
