HD shows less capacity

Folks:

I just build a new system with intel P4 and XP Ppro. I have 1 SATA 160 Gb drive. When I Formated firsttime before installing OS it shows only ~95Gb. ANy suggestion to go beyond this limit?

Without knowing anything else about your setup, my initial question would be:

Are your motherboard's BIOS up-to-date?
