I just put a new HD in my system and i`m having a few problems.

I had a WD 7200 40g hd(2 mb cache?),ran ghost to a wd 7200 120 g hd(8mb cache).I`m running off the 120 g now.Sometimes my system won`t "wake up"and I have to hit the reset button. It never did that before. It turned itself off once while I was online, but it has not woke up twice.Any ideas what the problem might be?Thanks in advance :)

BTW,i`m running XP Pro with all the latest updates.Everything worked fine on the old HD.

Is the new drive properly jumpered? If it's on its own cable then you'd want the jumper set to Single Drive. Some people have been having issues with it set otherwise.

I tried disableing powersettings and still had a few problems.Tried the jumpers different ,also.I gave up.I`m just getting everything reinstalled from a fresh, reformatted installation now. It`ll probably take me a few days ,on and off, getting everything back like I had it.Everything`s going smooth so far. Thanks for the replys :)

The SOB froze again this morning,on the screensaver.I just turned all the power management off,so we`ll see what happens.
