for myself the only problem i have had is with one 60 GXP 40 GB drive and that was a weak solder joint on the IDE pin.



i have had two WD 60 GB drives die of smart drive failure...........

Yeah I've had 2 WD's die on me..

A 40gig 7200RPM & 60gig 7200RPM....

oh well, my replacements work better than the original so I can't complain at all

well, at least IBM sent me a 120gxp for my failed 60gxp. I don't think i'll be keeping it, though.
