HD light problem

A couple weeks ago I noticed that my HD light didn't do anything so I checked it to make sure it was still good. It still works but doesn't light up when there is HD activity. It comes on steady during bootup and flashes for a second just as the computer turns off. I figured it is probably the motherboard. If you want me to I'll post my system info here. Otherwise click on the noise maker link.
 
Guess no one wanted to help or could figure out what the problem could be. I just figured it out anyway. Got it working properly now. It was something with the ribbon. removed the HD's and floppy(not that it has anything to do with this) for some other reason. Noticed it was working when I only had the main HD hooked up. I then decided to see if it would work with both hooked up. It didn't so i removed the secondary HD and it still didn't work after that. Had some more cables around so I used one of those with both HD's hooked up. Now it is working just fine.
