I bought a Seagate 200GB HD and installed Win XP.
I setup everything was fine with 120gb+80gb.

After a few times reformatting (coz of my win xp problem), now my HD is only showing 35gb.

How do I reset back everything to 200gb? Please help. TIA.

eh, well, format it again from scratch I suppose. Also do a full scan with the Seagate utility to make sure it isn't busted.

Your XP setup disc needs SP1 or SP2 integrated if you want to format > 137 GB. I'm not sure where you are getting 35 GB from, however. Google "slipstream SP2" for details on how to integrate the service pack with your setup disc.

that is exactly the problem I don't understand how it's only showing 35gb now.

It's not a problem about win xp anymore. now it's the hard drive problem.

I'm dying to fix this thing.....
