HD doesn't power down

I set my hard drive to power down after 5 hours but if I leave my computer on overnight and come back to it the next morning, it wasn't powered down...
 
5 hours? set it to three minutes to see if it works. A lot can try to use a HD in five hours. Screen savers, error logs, DC programs..
