OK, so this may be a stupid question, but this issue is causing me a lot of trouble.
I am trying to clone my 80GB Intel SSD drive (with Win7 OS) to my newer 120GB HyperX SSD. I used HDClone4.2, and it did clone everything over successfully, but decreased the 120GB drive capacity.
Observations:
-Immediately after the cloning, everything looked good (111GB partitian with ~50GB free)
-When I booted to Windows using the 120GB drive, it then showed only 17GB free (not ~50)
-Booted back to windows using the Intel SSD, and now the 120GB showed only 80gb
-Extended the partition on the drive to incorporate the unused partition area and re-booted. No change.
I must be doing something wrong here...It shouldn't be that hard to clone existing OS drive info from an older (smaller) drive to a newer (faster/bigger) drive.
Suggestions?
