So I was taking pictures of my computer earlier for a thread I was posting in and I noticed something odd about my PC... My computer is a pre-built Dell sx8100-1986NBC, the way they put the case together had the hard drive pinned up against the side of the case next to the video card. I have just about exactly 4" of clearance
But the card I am interested in is listed as 10.24" x 4.33" x 1.38" on Newegg, and that 4.33" is too big for the space I have available.
As you can see in this picture, the HDD and the graphics card are right up against each other and it truly only allows for 4" of space:
So my question is, is this is the only place I can put my HDD? Or can I also use the (what I assume to be) the media hard drive bay which is in the top of the picture above, and remove the HDD bay on the bottom of my case near the graphics card to free up space? I am a novice so I don't know what options I have here.
