Newegg has the 4770 1gb version for 139$ with a 30$ rebate= 109$!!
Can you flash that one, or does the extra memory change things?
I read somewhere you can use MSI's overclocking utility to overclock these?

From what I have read over the course of all the forums and tech sites that I could find in my quest to flash my XFX 4770's bioses it sounds like the blue PCB uses very limiting ram chips. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong however.

Curious if anyone has successfully flashed the bios of the XFX 4770 dual slot cooled black PCB version?

Let me say that my Sapphire 4770 (Blue PCB) with 512MB got horked when I flashed to the ASUS BIOS.

Caused me an anxious couple of days before I could borrow a PCI card to help me flash the 4770 back to stock.
