Do any of you know the differences between these cards as far as video quality and HTPC features for HD/Blu-Ray playback are concerned?

I read somewhere that 3470 has post-processing features the 3450 doesn't..

What about the 3650?

Also, are there additional HD HTPC benefits going 4850 or 4870 over the 3xxx series?

Thanks!

been waiting for the lower end 4000 series cards with PCM audio over hdmi. I have a 4850 in my htpc and man it runs like crap. Its probably still drivers but I have to reboot that thing constantly to get audio over hdmi to work properly. If I switch over to my cable source the receiver HK 347- has to cycle power to recognize the signal as well. I am running the card at bone stock as well so its not a overheating issue as well. Some people with yamaha recievers are experienceing the same thing so it may be limitations of Hdmi switching on my receiver but GD it crap never seems to work right.......

My htpc used to be my pride and joy but I am getting closer and closer to dumping them all for extenders with a home run media setup.

/end rant

back on topic

upgrading the htpc to PCM audio over hdmi did improve sound Q on BR titles and dvd titles as well considerably though.....

Whatcha mean by "extenders" above? Long cables or some kind of wireless device that streams media to the home theater setup?
