I'm planning on finally upgrading my old hard drive since I've already upgraded my entire computer, and I need help deciding which of these two would be better. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16822144701 This is a 250GB HD with a 16MB cache.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?item=N82E16822144394 This one is a 320GB HD, but with only an 8MB cache.
I know I could probably go $30 more and get a better hard drive, but I was wondering if the 16MB cache constitutes sacrificing 70GB of space. What advantages do a 16MB have over an 8MB, and would it increase load times of programs and such?

I doubt you would see a huge performance increase with a 16MB buffer over the 8MB. Not to say it doesn't help, it will store data in it as the disk head passes over it. But for 70 GBs more of room seems more tempting to me.
