Holy crap. I basically lost a bet, so I had to watch Girls with a friend of mine. She thinks it is the greatest TV show ever. Apparently a lot of women find it ground breaking or something.

It can't possibly be worse that how I met your mother, according to Jim, or guys with kids.

The first season I kind of rolled with it, because I knew it wasn't very many episodes, and by the end, I kind of liked it.

I didn't think it was paticulary funny. Or groundbreaking. Or deserved any of the amount of acclaim it racked up last year. But it was decent.

This season's been pretty bad though. I haven't even watched the last couple. It almost feels like she didn't have total creative freedom the first season, but has a lot more this season. The show is going off on a lot of rants.

I actually like Zosia Mamet (she cleans up well from her rug-munching Mad Men days). She's got that quirky, Sarah Silverman look going on.

I thought the first season started out very funny, then slowly went downhill. This season it has been unwatchable. Besides being a narcissistic ugly whiner who does the stupidest shit possible in every situation, Lena Dunham has apparently decided that this show is her vehicle to act out her extremely unlikely sexual fantasies. I dunno the name of the guy actor she shacked up with last week (I recognize him though), but she has about as much chance of banging him as I have with Kate Upton. And yes, her exhibitionist tendencies arent funny - they're cringe worthy. And the one chick that the show portrays as the big catch (Jemima Kirke - yes Jemima is her freaking name), is also a boner killer, though less so. The only hot girl on the whole show is Brian Williams' daughter and 1) she doesnt get naked, and 2) for some reason I feel creepy checking her out - maybe cause I have been watching her dad for so long.

Cliff notes: show sucks dirty stinkey donkey taint.

Never seen it. Only thing I know about this show is that it's popular from all the mention at the Emmys and Golden Globes.

Only thing I know of Lena Dunham is her skit before the Emmys where she sat on a toilet tits out, but blurred. Didn't like the outline...
