Hbo go

My son said I could subscribe to HBO GO. I searched for it on the web and it says you have to have to be a cable subscriber and have HBO to get it.

Can you tell me if this is what is true?

Still looking at what I need to get together and price wise to see how much I will save if i cut the cord from cable

Wife called today when I was at work and got a lot of different promos then when I called back they said no that dosn't include this a and that. Like she said the rep said that included the equipment and then the guy I talked to said in didn't .

This is another reason I want to drop cable they never seem to have there ducks in a row when you call them and then when you agree to something the bill is always higher than what they quote you.

Not only that, but promo prices will usually be 1 receiver that is the most basic; i.e. Standard Definition, non-DVR. Anything else costs $.

You have to subscribe to HBO through a TV provider to get HBO Go.

Is anyone willing to use their HBO subscription to activate my AppleTV HBOgo.

I am in Canada and will reward anyone who can help.

Thanks

Jason

Asking to help get around HBO's restrictions is most likely against forum rules, plus it will not work in Canada. You'll need to subscribe to TMN and then sign up for TMN Go which includes HBO Canada.
