Haze rating for monitors?

I'm looking at possible upgrading the monitor on my laptop. I know that these two will fit, but I'm not sure exactly what the "haze" rating is. Anybody know what it is supposed to represent? Will it have a detrimental affect on picture quality? I'm not overly concerned with glare because I can control the lighting where I use the laptop.
