Oh, it's not that they're icky. It's that I detest people, including myself when I feel the inclination, that feel that they need someone else to complete them. I've been single for many years and have spent most of that time lamenting the fact, but the reality is, I'm just recently learning how to really enjoy being by myself. The problem is that the single jokes are ingrained in my ready-made commentary and are a reminder of someone I used to be.

I rather like girls, in fact. They remind me that God made me a certain way and intended an other to complement me. 🙂
