HAWT! Retailedge Equivalent @ Outpost for $279+ship

Link
Price: $279.00
Shipping was only $8.10 for ground for me in MN but of course YMMV.

IMO, The outpost deal is better then the Intel RetailEdge deal if you ask me.

Same exact processor.

Better Mobo:
-Its a non-Intel mobo
-8 channel audio as opposed to intel's 6
-Not SLI capable, but has 2 PCI-E x16 compared to Intel's 1.

Software: I personaly couldn't care less about a legit version of Windows XP Pro or Adobe Elements. I have legal Xp Pro keys coming out my ears in addition to all the illegal ones that still work despite the new validation crap and what not. As for adobe I have little need or want for that. Even if I did want it there are plently of non-legal methods of coming across it *cough* Emule *cough* torrents. Just My Humble Opinion However.

Did I mention you DO NOT have to be a retail employee.

Yeah. Free windows (worth 75-125$, depending on version) makes the retail edge deals.
Also, Intel boards are good. ECS boards are the cheapest of the cheap (except maybe pcchips).
Finally... since when does 945 chipset support sli?

I know it has the two x16 PCI-Express slots, why else would it have two? I am not being sarcastic with that statement either, what is the purpose of 2 x16 PCI-E slots if not for SLI?

Four displays.

Man you really stuck your foot in it with this one...

Less stuff for more $ != equivalent
ECS !> Intel
2 PCI-e 16x != SLI

And encouraging others to steal to boot... WTG

Oh shut up already.

Same stuff for under MSRP is equivalent for non-retail employees

ECS even if it is bottom of the barrel has better stats then intel and is overclockable.

2 PCI-E that is not SLI compatible is an honest mistake I thought the SLI was controlled through the SLI bridge independent of the mobo chipset.
and
I wasn't encouraging anything. so....stfu already.
