Having trouble with your HDTV wonder and X800PRO?

I found a way to make them work in Harmony and it took me less then a day to do it. Hey ATI if you read this how about hooking me up with a job HUH????

I just got my card off autocrat and I too have X800Pro and going through the same bs. I have found that if you fully set up the analog tuner the digital one will not work without getting a warning that the graphics chip isnt a radeon when it shows primary and secondary as being a radeon X800PRO. If you uninstall everything and fully install the digital tuner then the analog one gives you the warning. Then the great directx is not installed properly and the missing Video capture bs BUT after 24 hours of messing around with it I hit pay dirt and got it to work!!!!!

Use the remove all ATI software uninstaller that comes with the disk.
Then do this in order:
Install the latest Graphics card driver
Make sure you have media incoder 9 installed which can be found off ati's site in the hdtv wonder driver section.
download ALL 4 new driver sets
Keep your original disk in the cd rom
then install the tuner software from the disk that came with it
go to start, control pannel, add remove hardware and remove ONLY the mmc portion.
Now install the new drivers you downloaded in order. You will get a warning asking if you want to overwrite the canadian with the english version select yes everytime.
Reboot when it asks you to after the second driver and last.
Now here is when the driver gets tricked.
Click on the tv and the warning for the dma bs (yes we all have it installed) comes up. Click never see again. If you dont you wont be able to use the schedual stuff because the warning will always come up when tv is used.
After doing that it wants to start to set up the tuner BUT cancel out.
Then go and click on the dtv. You will get the same warning but no matter how many times you click never show again it will. Small price to pay to be able to get it to work.
Go ahead and go through the entire set up process for DTV.
After it is done go back and click on tv it should now not give you the warning about the dma on the hdd.
Set up TV as you would.
Thats it. Should be working with your X800PRo card. The only downside is like I said when you select the dtv it will always prompt the dma warning but click ok and it will all work.
