Having problem shutting down win2K and winXP

Can't seem to shutdown the computer on both OS. Everytime I got to shutdown, the system will shutdown then automatically restarts. I have a MSI K7T266 Pro2A with 1800+ XP. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

do you have roxio easy cd creator installed?

also.. in winXP

Right-click My Computer, and then click Properties.
On the Advanced tab, click Settings under Startup and Recovery.
Click to clear the Automatically restart check box under System failure, and then click OK.

i had the same problem... turned out to be easy cd creator
