Question Having Performance problem with Custom Resolution and DSR

Having Performance problem with Custom Resolution and DSR. I have RTX 3070 and AOC G2 24 inch G sync Compatible monitor.

Whenever i use Custom resolution or DSR i get lower performance than the actual Native resolution

For example i have a 4K TV.

On Resident Evil 2 i get 202 FPS on resolution of 1440p on 4K

Than if use DSR i get 190 FPS and if use Custom Resolution created 1440p by Nvidia Control Panel i get 194 FPS.

Same with Shadow of the Raider.

Average on 4K TV i get 92 FPS average and if use custom resolution by of DSR or Nvidia control panel i get 86 FPS and 87 FPS.


Can tell what is the issue.
 
There's some overhead when using DSR compared to native resolution so it's unlikely that DSR 4K and native 4K perform the same.
