Huh? You need edit your old threads so you can read them? Or you need to edit your old threads to post more? If they're locked forget about them and move on.

Not really sure what you're asking though...

Threads that are locked are dead. You don't need to edit them in order to start new ones. You already have one open For Sale thread though, so you can't have any more until that one is finished. If you want to add additional items to that thread, you can edit it.

I guess im not understanding the way things are done around here now. I'll have to look through and see what I can edit?

I assume you are asking this same question that you posted in FS/T forum. From this thread here

Your threads are locked. There is no need to delete them to start another thread, which you have done already as of yesterday morning here

I am not sure why you think those old threads have any bearing on the new one that started. If you need to get some of the information off of it for a new thread, just copy and paste it.

edit:
I neglected to say that threads are never removed and are rarely locked. They are generally locked for violations. The members (buyers and seller) who participated in any particular FS/T thread may need to have access to that thread later on for a variety of reasons and therefore all violation-free threads need to remain unlocked.

If you are done with a thread and want to start a new one, instead of adding to the current one, you must mark your current thread as DONE, FINISHED, SOLD, etc in the title by editing it. Then you can start a new thread.
