Yeah, my wife's been great since Zoloft! :D

It's nice to come home and the house is clean when she gets home before I do, or she has dinner made, or she buys me something.

The bad part is you have to do it in return otherise she'll start on the "I ALWAYS AND YOU NEVER" arguments :disgust:

You dont need zoloft for that, I've already gotten hammered for that... the best is though that I DO stuff around, she just never sees me working, so it doesnt matter ;) it's all good though, I just wait for her to get home to clean up

Girlfriends can be good for that too. Last night my g/f ran out for Taco Bell at around midnight and today she showed up at my place with McDonald's right before my lab. Bad for the tummy but it means I don't starve. :D

I am not married yet, but i ALWAYS try to find little ways to make "my man" realize how much i love him! I like putting little notes with his lunch, or i will get his favorite (expensive) beer when i run to the store. It makes me feel good to do things for him, even if they are not monumental!

Many may not realize this, but someone could say they love you always, but its their actions that really speak louder than any words.

if you want i can call you up until you have to take the phone off the hook, pay my family to hate you for being white and alienate all your friends...

or ill just bring you white castle and we will eat it like useless, unmarried slobs.

I like number 2.

Never was a big fan of number 1.

I used to think that too....

that maybe he'd realize how much i loved him when i'd do little special things for him....like fold his laundry for him and leave a sweet little note, or picking up his favorite kind of snacks when I'm in an asian store or staying up til 4 in the morning while he was sick making sure his fever went down. I always thought..whatever it takes to make him smile..to make him happy.

then...he cheated on me. So i guess he didn't realize how much I really did for him. ::shrugs:: oh well.

but's it's not stopping me from doing the same thing for someone else..b/c at least I know he appreciates it. It's so nice to be told that you're appreciated...but when he actually takes you in his arms and just holds you without saying a word...sigh..that's such a nice feeling.

:)

For example, she bought the Easter candy this year. No big deal, right? Go to supermarket, pick out chocolate for her, me, and the kids, etc.

She goes and gets great candy for her and the kids - just what they like. And for me, she literally hunted down at least one of every one of my favorite candies:

250g milk chocolate Homer Simpson (I'm a huge Simpsons addict)
Cadbury's Creme Eggs
Lik-A-Stix (I didn't even know they still made these!)
Nerds
Rockets (called Smarties in the States)
Caramel Eggs

I didn't ask for any of these - she just knew and went out to find them.

She's awesome! :)

yeah. woman are great at that stuff.

No....she has been better since Zoloft :) Trust me. She was a very angry person before, and it's been night and day since. It's a wonder drug! I suggest all husbands inquire about it LOL!

It is great to see a happy camper! Kewl for ya!

I have one of those, although he is my b/f not hubby. We have been together for 5yrs. Own a home together, take care of the cats and he adores my 19yr. old daughter (he has only known her she is was 14yrs old.) He is thoughtful, kind, generous and never ever stresses about anything. Never gets angry, is very affectionate and absolutely adores me.

And I find it to be a wonderful thing on holidays. My family is spread all over the country and my ex hubby has no family, so it is such a warm and wonderful thing to me to go over the b/f's parents house and see a family where everyone is glad to see each other, brings something to the house (warmth, love and good times) besides just the plates of food.

wine, food and hugs & smooches from the family, combined with all the great things about the b/f makes me the luckiest gal on the planet. And I am smart enuf to know it and never take it for granted.

No one asked for :camera: yet.

I know how you feel!

:) :) :)
p.s. that was really soppy... sorry!

Ahh, young love.... wait about 5 years when you two start having hallway sex. i.e. you pass each other in the hallway and say "fvck you!!" to each other in anger.

Your candy fetish indicates you're quite young. How old are you?
