dont wanna read? skip down!

right, im looking to buy something, ive got about £250 from sales and money gifted over christmas.

i love gadgets, i love music, i love computer gaming.

i really want 5.1 surround sound, but i dont really have the space to set it up proper, and i especially dont have the space at home.

i would like a second TFT but my current is 17inch and i agree that 2 17inchers isnt really all that good value wise (considering i will be purchasing a 24+ inch TFT this summer)

i would like dual core cpu, but again.....while it will boost my 3dmark 06, and give me bragging rights over my fellow compsoc'ers but in the grand scheme of things, im probably not gonna get the proper use out of it (considering i game alot, and generally only do 1 thing at a time, plus i DIVX over night so its not gonna help there)

i dont have a MP3 player, bar my PSP but its a chew to get MP3's on to it, and the sound quality isnt all that good. i love music, and have a decent collection of Mixes (2hours+)
totalling about 8gig. so i would like a MP3 player maybe.

i was gonna upgrade my second rig (which can be found in my system rigs page as otis' so-so gaming rig) but im having a real crap time sourcing parts for cheap on ebay.

and if you click on my OTISLI you'll see that i dont really need to upgrade my main rig atm.

STOP skipping!

so given that imfomation, i would like ATGH opinions on what would be the best purchase for me. i think id get more use out of the MP3 player and ive been looking at this http://www.sony.co.uk/view/ShowProduct....=Overview&category=PAW+Network+Walkman

do they sell this in the US? my mother is going to NYC soon, so i could get her to get it for me and take advantage of the £££'s strength

Save the pounds until you know what you want.... Nothing worse than an impulse buy. You could save a little more money and go with something even nicer when you finally decide what it is that you want.
