Having a problem getting DHCP client to start on Win2K Pro (sp2)

If the DHCP client doesn't start properly - my Dad's DSL service won't work... But I can't find anywhere to specifically say "load @ startup" & even at other times it does wierd stuff - like it will say "started" but really, it's stopped - or, one second it'll seem started & the next it's stopped.

Anybody notice anything w/ sympatico's Access Manager &/or SP2 for Win2K with the DHCP client acting strange like this ??

Likely a DSL modem or tcp/ip settings issue.

Join: Access manager is not supported by Sympatico DSL in 2k. What they do recommend is a particular RASPPPoE client/access manager. I found it to be excellent for Sympatico DSL and 2k Pro, actually faster to connect and somewhat faster downloads/better pings. It is very small, so if you would like, I can email it to you, just leave an address where you can be reached.
