RUN AWAY Mousewheel, RUN LIKE THE WIND! D:
"End" key ftw.
What I try to do is finish a game before I buy another. If I buy a bundle, I finish the game(s) I bought the bundle for before moving on. You are perhaps doing what I used to do, buy lots of games and never really play them through.
Yea, that's a really good idea. However, I think that ship has sailed
... and about being narcissistic. At least you are being honest. Your problem is obvious to me ... you have too many games to choose from. The availability of numerous "inexpensive" games (through STEAM and other sites) has resulted in gaming overload.
I stuck with favorites from before this timie life COD and BF1942 and still play them today. Just find something you like and stick with it ... and cut back on the narcissism.
Good luck ...
Yea, too many choices is definitely a big part of it. Then again? Even in the 80's and 90's I was this way, now that I really think back to it... I was better about it, but I've always been someone who would end up with a lot of games I didn't finish. Back then it was a shelf above my computer desk filled with jewel cases and a closet full of game boxes, now it's a Steam library.
Maybe this is just my fate, to be this way. Flighty. It's sort of a silly thing to worry about, not being devoted enough to friggin' video games.
But I thought some direct advice from others might help me find something which was likely to grab me if I worked to get over any hump there was with it. Seems a lot of people have been entirely cool with providing that advice
As for the N-Word (narcissistic) that's only cool when I say it, not when others say it! I'm actually just as long-winded and over-detailed (usually) about things that have no connection to me or my life, so there was a certain level of tongue-in-cheek in me using that word in the OP. Also a certain level of truth. But you weren't supposed to agree with it!
