Having a fry's near you is good for your wallet if you are planning on buying a combo anyway. Having weak self control is bad for your wallet, and having a fry's around makes it even worse. It's like putting lemon juice on a cut.
 
I assume you bought all those CPUs to resell so it should be good for your wallet? Or are you running your own server farm?

newegg confirmed that I have spent over $31,000 with them....

Frys only has $5k of my money....
 
I'm glad Fry's is an hour away from me now. I worked there once and I think half my paycheck went right back to my employer a lot of the time.

I have a few dozen pages with those guys on my order history.

Geeks are my worst. Spent about gadzillion on Tyan barbone servers about 18 months ago... all now happily living in South America.

kinda like what a lot of people do to me when they hear me talk of new gen coming out.

Usually that thing that gets replaced is still considered "new gen" but to me 6 months old news. :X

Do overweight people say the same thing about grocery stores? C'mon, have some common sense if you think your spending too much money. If its extra cash and its what you enjoy, then whats the problem?
If your behind on bills because of it, its no different than any other money managment issue.

haha, actually i should have included those boxes... let's see... 2 x AthII 425, 1 x PhII 925, 1 x AthII 620, 1 x AthII 630, etc..

+ some OEM chips around

and most of the stuff is gone, i just still have the retail boxes and some HSF's - anyone want them? 😛

which reminds me, i gotta see if i should pick up that E3300 + Biostar (G41) combo (it's a "hidden" deal supposedly this week)
 
Lol. At one point, I had two Q6600, a Q8200, two Q9400, two Q9550, and about four E5200s, and some other chips. Should have taken a picture too.
