Having a bit of trouble trying to find a CPU HSF.

I plan on buying a X2 4400+ OEM in the next month. I can't find one that comes with a AMD HSF that's within a reasonable price - about $200, so I turned to third party HSF. I'm having trouble finding a good one though.

I need a HSF that has the following characteristics:

-compatible with socket 939
-doesn't require that I remove the mobo
-has a 3-pin fan connection

And of course, it needs to be as quiet as possible while fitting those specs. I'm looking to spend from 25-50 dollars on it.

Thanks.

Freezer 64 Pro. Uses the same type of mounting as the stock cooler so it is just a snap to put on.

The Freezer 64 Pro is pretty decent. I also had good results with the Thermaltake CL-P0200 cooler as well.

If you decide to go with the Freezer 64 Pro, Provantage.com has been selling them at the best price around.

I'm obviously F'd. The Freezer 64 Pro that arrived in the mail came with a 4pin fan connector. Any ideas?

I found this on their website. what a relief.

"Does PWM?s 4-pin fan plug be able to use in 3-pin fan socket on mother board?
4-pin fan plug is downward compatible to 3-pin fan socket on mother board. The stopper on the plug actually guides you to insert."
