I've had mine for two years now, great for gaming. Interestingly enough, it's one of the few CRTs with DVI input, but I can't tell a difference between it and analog. It is pretty huge and heavy though, being a 21" CRT.

This thing has a feature that I don't understand: a dvi cable socket on the back. Can anyone tell me how it is to be used?

curious,

It's great for general use as well, not just for games. IIRC, I've read somewhere than it uses a Sony Trinitron tube, so graphics quality is excellent. I mainly use my dual 1800FP LCD's for general PC stuff (ie. non-gaming) with my main PC, but when I do some web surfing on my P260 with my gaming machine, I am pleasantly reminded about how sharp Trinitron CRTs are.

My retail P260 came with a DVI monitor cable that hooks into that DVI port in the back. I also bought a standard analog monitor cable to plug into the analog port that's in the back of the P260, and use the toggle switch on front of the monitor to switch between the two inputs. So you can hook up two PCs to the monitor (one DVI, one analog), but you can only display one PC at a time.
