I use it. It seems good for burning almost all the image formats or mounting them. No real clue how well it is at copying protected games cause I never tried.

an image mounter that mounts all images. If i remember correctly, NERO's drive image only does NRG?

I am using it on my labtop and it is a really good way for setting up mutiple cds. I just leave an image of the game I want to play and mount the cd and play it. Good program, I would recommend it to ppl who play games and require the cd to play.

Use it & it's great. Very stable---and my favorite virtual cd program I've ever used (even like it more then daemon tools).

Anyone using it to create backups of their protected games? If so, how does it compare to CloneCD?

Clonecd, blindwrite, and alcohol are all phenomenal burning proggies. The "best" one changes on a weekly basis based upon which games come out with which protection. Currently, alcohol is considered better than clonecd.

It is better at copying protected games than nero, but nero is a better all around burning proggie.

Thanks Guyz
I will give it a try. I have cloneCD and Nero and have not had any problem backing up most games. I like the idea of setting up an image on the HD and not having to use the cd to play. That will be a big help on my grandson's machine. He is 8 and a little rough on cds.

after a few more days of learning the ins and outs of it, i HIGHLY recommend this burning software. I've been using Nero for around 5 years, and this is the first piece of burning software that i have been willing to use exclusively (bye nero! thanks for the memories!)

ok so i'm retarted... i just figured out today that alcohol won't burn data or audio cds

so i guess i'll be using nero AND alcohol!

I might have to check it out. I don't "share" games or "rent to own,", but I do have a collection of classics like Fallout and Planescape: Torment that are now out of print.

Since game companies usually don't bother to stock replacement CDs for out-of-print games I'd be very annoyed if I went to play Torment again next year and disc X of Y was too scratched to read.
