I never take Tylenol for anything, HOWEVER, I DO take Excedrin for headaches, which does contain acetominophen. I just don't take it after drinking. Just aspirin if needed.
FWIW, 4 grams (4000 mg) of Tylenol is supposed to be the MAX in a 24 hour period for those with healthy livers under ANY circumstance.

i once ate 10mg... i didnt die, but damn that was a close one. (dont ask for a story b/c you're not gonna get one)

So you had 1/400th of a maximum dose and you didn't die? OMG! Call NASCAR, they need to know this. What about F1? I am gonna call NASA myself.

I'm a huge Tylenol buff, and I take it for pretty much anything. I have taken it after a hard night of drinking to relieve the morning symptoms without thinking of what it could be doing to my liver, but only a few times.

I had a friend who took over 13 grams of Tylenol throughout a day (basically a ridiculous amount of Vicodin 7.5/750s). Granted between that and many other things, his liver is probably in horrible shape, but he certainly didn't die.

I've done quite a few times where I'd take 3+ grams of acetaminophen and drank 4-6+ beers. No bad side effects for the most part, but I know and knew then it wasn't a good thing to do. I'm not sure what symptoms of a bad liver are, but mine seems fine. :)

Not that this issue should be ignored, because a lot of normal people probably still aren't aware of using Tylenol within a close period of drinking alcohol, but on some other forums I visit, I think it's overblown. I mean, someone will ask if 3gr is okay to take at once, just once, and you got people saying CWE OR YOU'LL DIE!!!

I mean tylenol and alcohol have been around for a long time and very common together. I would of course say avoid it if at all possible, and it is better to take aspirin or ibuprofen if you have to take anything. And I'm no doctor obviously, but I can't see that 3-5gr or 1-2gr with some alcohol several times over your life to be any worse than a hundred other things people do.
