I've gone three straight days (ie: no food till 4th day) without
food or
water, and
ran 5-6 miles each of those days. I was still in highschool and got into an argument with my mom and she was like "you get no dinner" and i was like "okay ZOMG i wno't eat then at all!".
i totally won
although on the second day after I ran we went to the weight room to lift a little...and my vision was clody with sooo many whit dots in front of me - i don't know how to explain it. I was REALLLLLLY thirsty too - and ont he third day i barely sweat when i was running and I'm the type who usually sweats a LOT LOT LOT LOT.
the second night was the hardest for me because I was so thirsty...i actually felt fine on the 4th day in so far as physical pain or desire for water was concnerned but I realized i was probably hurting myself at that time,but i just couldn't "feel" it... so i started with a very light soup and built up to regular food ( id idn't want to just toss heavy stuff in immediately) over a period of three days
oh:
does a muslim fast count? sun rise to sunset....ridiculously easy during the winter time as the days are short, but can get substancially difficult during the summer when the days are 10-12 hours each
