I know it was going to come a couple years ago with Joel McHale in it as Roy, but I think it didn't get picked up. I haven't heard any news recently about it though.

At one point the US Pilot was on youtube. It was horrible. Joel McHale is great on Community and The Soup, but he was all wrong for the Roy part. The lady they had playing Jen sucked too.

I love the original show though. Watched the first 3 series on netflix, and watched the 4th recently via torrent. Only thing I didn't like was the final episode of series 4. Douglas gets a little tiresome after awhile, and entire episode devoted to him with very very limited Roy/Moss was way too much.

It's just amazing how opinions about things can be so wildly variant.

I love The IT Crowd and loathe both Code Monkeys and FotC.

My favorite parts of IT Crowd are S1E2 - "The shoes!", S2E1 - Right when Jen turns around to order a drink, S3E2 - "Did you see that ludicrous display last night?", Almost all of S3E4, S3E5 - "Jen, why don't you tell them about your bionic arm?", All of S4E2 - "We promised no more unlicensed street Countdown games!", S4E4 - "I may be able to get an iPhone without paying any money to Apple! I'll be living the dream!" and basically all of S4E5.

I just saw episode Jen The Fredo, fucking died when Roy's talking to Jen and telling her she's like Fredo from The Godfather. And she's all clueless, he says Fredo was a pimp, she doesn't believe him. So he asks Moss.

"Fredo in the film, he was essential a pimp right?"
"umm" *looks up* "nooo! he took the ring to Mordor"

The look on Roy's face is like he's close to having a rageguy moment.

Just started watching this and made it to season 2. Thought it was cheesy at first, but now I think it's pretty hilarious.

It's an awesome show. I'm sad that it's over. Season 4 was the last. They did say who knows in the future they might make more (kinda like how Red Dwarf is coming back for 2 seasons this year).
