Have you seen pics of the new Megatron!?

This isn't exactly news. Said its more easy to add to the script than a giant robot changing into a giant handgun.

Bay made a good move. Having Megatron change into a giant Walther PPK would have looked stupid.

this is true but htey could have him turn into something similar like a tank with a big canon on top? or att he very LEAST something that blends in on earth like all the other transformers, an alien jet would just stand out.
ALSO fine even if you have him as an alien jet when he transformers you could have had him look more like the original not like Witchblade/Darkness or wherever they got the idea from.

He actually changed into a small handgun. He was a bigger robot than Starscream, yet when he turned into a gun Starscream held him like a normal gun.

Yes on the cartoon, but it seems for the movie he didn't want such a large mass effect on transformation. Else he probably would have had no problem putting our cassette man in there.
