It is a GREAT anime. Either Berserk or Hajime no Ippo are my favorite anime.

Berserk anime was great. I liked the Manga too, but like Chaoz I'm waiting for the complete series to be released as I hate waiting in the wings for a story.

The dub sounds horrible, but it seems like an interesting anime. Art direction isn't to my taste, but it isn't bad looking. I might have to check it out eventually, once I'm done with the backlog of animes I already have (Elfen Lied, Akagi, Azumanga Daioh, Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu, RahXephon)... sigh, so much anime, so little time.

Berserk was the only anime/manga that really outlived my own anime/manga phase. It's exceptionally brutal and yet the hero is so fun to cheer for. It also has some incredibly emotional points in the story where they just love to pile it on. I liked it better when he was alone, but it is still an interesting story now that he has almost a superhero group of companions.

The one thing I loved the most about Berserk is the fantasy portrayal of corruption. How things that corrupt sort of continually become more disgusting and perverse.

I love the art style, in the manga especially, the attention to detail is awesome although it accounts for the fact that it is an extremely slow series in regards to new content.

There is a youtube video where someone did an exceptional job of creating a slide show from the manga content. It also uses some unique effects to almost make the pictures look like they are moving. Panning, zoom ins, some other weird stuff. I can't get to youtube but I think you search for berserk and dark tranquility - wonders at your feet is the song. Azumanga is great

Suzumiya is overrated but I guess entertaining.

Rahxephon was also fuckwin.

You can't say that Akagi sucks without seeing it. Its an amazing anime

School Rumble is NOT as good as Azumanga. Azumanga is a low budget anime that was able to be be funny without amazing animation and referencing everything else. Short and Sweet, and with a ending that manages to wrap up everything Its just plain out better.

Suzumiya has decent character development. The only reason there isn't more is because there is going to be a season 2, and the fact that the light novels allow for another 50 episodes of development.

And Rahxephon sucks because its about mechas? GTFO

Azumanga was awesome, but yeah, School Rumble frikken rocked. I can't wait for the Season 3 OVAs coming in June(?)!!!
