My side? my side is America, so yea, once this piece of shit masquerading as legislature goes through my side is toast. Also thanks for being a shining example of what I was talking about earlier, you can always count on the loony left for some things.

I am loony for calling out how pathetic the is side you pander too? I mean if I was into paranoia, fear mongering, homo phobia, closet racists, holy rolling and butt fucking corporations, I would be right with ya.

So many assumptions, and accusations in one sentence, you're textbook.

Shouldn't you be saying, "The more it helps Americans the better?" Or are you just interested in hurting Republicans at any cost? Why do you vote Republican if you hate them so much?

He doesn't care about America/Americans. He cares about his own narrow view of the world.

Even I think thats messed up and its my state getting the money. Besides, I bet Mary could have gotten triple that if her dumb ass woulda held out a little longer.
I saw this and thought maybe your were a prophet of some sort. I can't find any confirmation that she got $300M though. It looks to be just exaggeration.

Gee I think singling out one Senator for your hatred of the healthcare bill is a joke considering just about every person in Congress is on the take.

Can we get back to topic and away from the schoolyard antics please !

Your face is on topic.

Burn!

Anyway... people for healthcare reform are in a tough spot, because the current legislation being (attempted to be) pushed through doesn't do a good enough job. But at the same time it still pushes us closer to a public option if it goes through. So do you support it and hope that we can use it as a launching pad? Or try to kill it and hope we can work on something better?

Our country is in a bad spot right now. We're as divided as ever, our economy is in the shitter, our quality of life is starting to yield to the countries of western Europe and we've been getting passed by in education for YEARS. I still wouldn't want to live anywhere else... but god damn do we need to start moving forward with the rest of the world.

What I would like to see them do is implement the methods they say can remove billions from cost. If they can generate the funds they claim then place that into a savings account and only when they have the funds should they implement public health care. Sort of like the rest of us have to do if we want to buy something and don't have the cash or credit. We save to buy it. And we know the government doesn't have the credit, that card is maxed out, shredded and melted down .

Republicans are against gang rape when the bill was proposed by a Democrat. They are completely useless when it comes to fixing the country. They are reflexively voting no, regardless of the substance of the bill.

Democrats need to realize this reality and treat the Senate/House as if both houses of government have 60/350 votes respectively. Republicans cannot be counted on contributing anything to the national debate.

Did you know that when this bill is enacted, there will be 7,500,000 people required to contribute to it, that will be dead when the actual benefits portion of the "reform" take effect?

Did you know that there are approx. 2,500,000 ex-patriots living abroad that are eligible to vote in our elections, and that they will be required to support this system also, even though they will not access it.

What a moron.

People living abroad pay taxes in and people die before getting to use social services all the time. Medicare for example.

Man you are grasping at straws, ignorant repug.

Sorry pointing out your own ignorance offends you.

This must be why you repugs spend all your time in town meetings and fundraisers to stop the gays from marrying, keeps you isolated from facts.

i think you mean they're for gang rape, not against. i'm assuming by the rest of the post that that was a typo.

though they're not, really. that's just taking a page from the republican book of sensationalism to twist the truth.

what they are 'for' is money, and what they voted on was basically whether or not to provide exemptions to large corporations from criminal law- so that they can continue to protect their buddies and get their pockets lined.

granted, i wouldn't put the filthy motherfuckers above rape, but in this case, that isn't what it was about.

You do realize Democrats pull more PAC money than the GOP as of 2008....dont you? Unless, of course, you are talking about Democrats protecting their buddies in which case I misunderstood.

edit: my bad. The money shift started in 2007. http://online.wsj.com/public/articl...617-Xz4XikFqFlSwWSokkpgptCULmoo_20080428.html

i'm very much talking about the republicans. if you want to argue that they didn't do it for the money, then they go back to being supporters of gang rape.

it's hard to win when your leaders are complete and utter human garbage.
