'common sense' by thomas paine? because God knows glenn beck doesn't have any.

a book about common sense by glenn beck would be a lot like a romance novel written by michael jackson.

I'm convinced Beck could say the ocean was wet, and most in here would deny it.

I love all the vitriol Glenn Beck gets on this board. I'd bet that most don't even realize that Glenn Beck is a registered Independent, and that one of the main points he constantly makes is that both of the major political parties have huge issues.

I guess it is just en vogue to mindlessly bash anything conservative sounding nowadays and assume that it came from a Republican.

who gives a shit what glen beck is registered? he's a loon, regardless

Hell yeah, we have to kill ACORN, because we don't want those peasants voting, do we? Only the rich should vote. Baby Jeebus wants it that way.

Hell, I'm one of the peasants. I qualified and was approved for an ACORN mortgage about 6 years ago. It's still a corrupt organization.

There is no such thing as an 'ACORN mortgage' and never was.

Who We Are

National non-profit ACORN Housing has been providing free housing counseling to low and moderate income homebuyers since 1987. We have opened HUD-certified, Fannie Mae-approved housing counseling offices across the US, helping over 50,000 families to achieve homeownership.

ACORN Housing provides one-on-one mortgage loan counseling, first-time homebuyer classes, and helps clients obtain affordable mortgages through our unique lending partnerships.

We look at your savings and credit history to see if you qualify for a mortgage. We can help you with credit problems and to create a downpayment savings plan.

When you qualify, we can help arrange a mortgage with lower interest rates, lower down payments and lower settlement costs than what banks usually offer.

Me too. I opened the thread thinking someone actually had some intellectual curiosity and had made the effort to weed through this 200+ year old text. Should have known.

That someone would actually admit to giving beck even a shred of credibility is pitiful.

everyone that voices an opinion that ruffles feathers is always labeled a crackpot..its the easiest way to deny, and not deal with real issues at hand. ergo, anyone who speaks out against a govt. is a crackpot.

only way to get heard in this country is to:
be on television or on movies
be rich
play professional sports
commit some type of crime that gives coverage.

In Glenn Beck's case, labeling him a crackpot is kind understatement. All you have to do is listen to him for a few minutes (if you can stomach him that long) to know he's a few frejoles short of a combination plate.

The same Glenn Beck who had a guest on his show saying that Osama needed to attack the US again so we would strengthen our national security? He just loves his country so much.
