Have you met a girl who is geekier then thou?

Ever met a girl who knows more about D&D then you? Known one who can name off every alien race in Star Wars alphbetically? A girl who can debug code with her eyes closed?

Myself I have not. I did meet a girl who knew a substantional ammount about EQL then I did at the time. She actually had more epic toons then I did.

There is a girl in my C++ class who has promise, but I think she is a man. Honestly, voice is deeper then the grand canyon.

Oh, yeah. I've certainly met lots of women who are heavily into RPGs (including changing their names to their D&D characters or naming their children after them) and a whole lot of obsessive fan types. I think I've known way too many for whom slash fiction is a bigger part of their lives than any other form of social contact.

Nope. Can't say that I've met any who are more into programming, computers (other than video games), math, or science than I.

I was at a friend's apartment and there were some people there that he plays DnD w/ and there was a chick, picture your stereotype of a woman that would play DnD, that is exactly what she was like, and a hardcore roleplayer.

I know nothing about programming, wireless networking, etc., so there must be a lot of girls out there who are geekier than me, but I avoid them.

seeing as i can't program, will never play D+D, don't think star wars is legendary, don't even know what EQL stands for, I think I have

the sister of this guy I played D&D with in college.

the first time I met her, my first thought was "man, she'll make a really great husband for some lumberjack."

Oh yes... she's studying CS, runs Debian on her IBM laptop, plays CTF as a hobby (no not ego-shooter CTF this type of CTF - she and her team made 3rd place in that one), has a baaaad World Of Warcraft addiction and ist pretty cute as well. Such a shame our relationsship only lasted half a year.

Still are friends though - good job too because I need to set up a Linux VLC server for a shool project that I am working on and require her help from time to time. She insisted I learn it the hard way - by using Gentoo - and I must say it's actually kinda fun messing about with it.

Is she geekier than me... well she has more geek T-shirts than me but then again I used to help organize LAN-Parties for over 1000 peeps, am extremely at home with professional Video equiptment and have and use all 3 major OS's (Win-XP, Mac OS-X and now Linux) running in my home on a regular basis... while she only has two 😉

We are both geeks, each in our own way.
