I'm in the Midwest (Missouri) and I've never seen it around here.

I'm a fan of Yuengling. As a resident of PA, it can usually be found pretty cheap and it's fairly good

I've never seen it in Kansas or Nebraska. The only way I know about it is a friend from Pennsylvania.

Um yes...but then my mother's family is from Philly...so I think I would have been beaten as a kid if I didn't know what it was when my grandpa asked me to fetch him one.

There are a lot of regional beers. Boulevard from KC, Shiner Bock from Texas, etc. The companies may just not have the capital or desire to expand nationwide.

Very popular beer in Pittsburgh. A lot of bars have specials on "Yueng & Wings" nights.

Some brewers won't distribute nationally because they are concerned about freshness. Straub (another favorite regional beer of mine) is like that because they don't use any preservatives.

I enjoy their original Lager from time to time here in Alabama. I went to a friend's wedding in Easton, PA and it was strange to see it on the menu at almost every restaurant. 9/10
