Arm was sore this morning. I tried talking myself into not feeling that good, but I still did my Sunday morning laundry (I know, why, I'm retired), and did my walk around the lake. It was too beautiful of a day to waste. I feel just fine. We will get through this! Killing time watching golf before not seeing the Seahawks at the super bowl.

See I force myself to watch Fox, if you flip between CNN, MSNBC, and Fox, you will see that they have about 50% more ads. It's not because everyone wants to advertise their products on Fox, its because they don't get the same top shelf advertisers that the other networks get.

I think because of the "predominantly young healthy adults" thing. Hopefully this pans out to be unfounded.
The placebo group showed as much protection.. are you missing that? It is a small sampling but not a good sign. A vaccine resistant mutation is the biggest thing to worry about. This is by no means time to start worrying but something to follow for sure.

The soreness from my Moderna Shot# was going away after 2 days, after 3 days practically no soreness. I figure soreness good, means the vaccine was doing its thing.
The big thing is that even though YOU might not be at risk, you may still be a transmission vector for others who aren't vaccinated. So don't throw your mask away just because your vaccination is fully effective (or as effective as it's going to be)Epidemiologist I know posted these:
I got my Moderna #1 four days ago. I have seen in multiple places that efficacy for Moderna first shot after 14 days is 92%, however. I'm thinking that in 10 days I can feel decent confidence in semi-risk environments (masked and social distanced, of course).
Yeah, I realize this. Seems they they don't have data on this. Must be hard to investigate. In any case, I am safer not being exposed, or if less exposed, and of course, it's the socially responsible thing to do to wear a mask and SD after being vaccinated, since it's for sure helping quell the pandemic if for no other reason than to send a message to your fellow humans that the protocols are good for everybody. Herd immunity ASAP!
