The last few Foxtrot comic starting me thinking about making our own Christmas cards this year. We did this a few years ago before Isabella was born. We took a digital pictures of ourselves in front of the Christmas tree, printed the picture on half of a 8x11 page, folded in half then had the kids make a Christmas tree with crayons on the front and we signed the card in crayon. Just about everyone we sent it too love the card and though it was very creative. To tell the true we were just short on money that year.

My wife use to make the cards every year, but now that we have a child, she doesn't have the time. We just have a family portrait taken, and order Xmas cards from those.

We make our cards every year. They are nothing fancy - we usually have 5-6 pictures of me and my wife from throughout the year on a sheet of paper with a short message at the bottom.
