I won $2 from the tab of a Coca-Cola can 7 years ago.

Boy was I...uh...happy. yeah, or something (i was 9 years old, too).

When I was in high school, I won a hell of a lot of free 20 oz. mountain dews. I bought 2 a day, and the odds were 1 in 12 of winning, and I was lucky, so hey.

And, other than a few awards in art shows and things like that, no. Not any kind of random type contest (radio call-ins, instant win, lotto, etc...)

I won some free pop, a couple things for free pizza, and...well, a lot of stuff! But when I want something and am not winning it or something, I go and get it out of them SOMEHOW.

My wife just won a recipe contest THIS week, and she entered the contest 4.5 YEARS ago!!!!????

yeah, in hs, i won about a sprite a day from those under the cap games, i once went 8 straight without having to buy one because i won on each consecutive cap

When I was in college at OU, by the way SOONERS ARE #1, I won a trip to L.A. for a weekend and backstage passes to a Brian Adams concert. Hehe, long time ago!!

I won the computer game Crimson Skys. That would be the biggest thing. Other little things as well like free coke, couple of bucks, etc.

I won $75 at the casino playing the slots on a $5 bill I found on the floor at the bar. Kept playing until my net gain was $50 and then walked.

I've won (no kidding) two guitars in raffles. One from a music store and one from Musicland. Both were pretty mediocre and have long ago been traded for better ones.

Won movie tix twice on radio call-in trivia shows. Unfortunately the movies were "Nick Of Time" (so-so) and "Dangerous Minds" (gawdawful).

Won a radio logo sweatshirt in a trivia contest, tickets to J. Giels, The Cult and WWF (caller number whatever) and the best, tickets to Jewel. I went to the theatre box office, picked them up and crossed the street and scalped them for $100. (Prolly could've gotten more, but I'm not a pro ticket scalper.)

And the usual free pop, small lottery stuff.

Need to win the Big Game. A $100 million would be OK.

Yeah, back in my heavy gambling days, I won $15000 playing blackjack, then spent the rest of the weekend, after losing it, trying to get it back, ending up about $35,000 stuck. :Q

I used to play $30-$40,000 per trip, sometimes up twice that much, but usually down. Had cards of $100K at some clubs(credit lines). Never paid for RF or B. (actually, I did, if you read between the lines). We'd check out and the Casino would reimburse our plane fair, and comp my wife's $5000 clothes shopping spree's, as well.

Hehe, I don't do that anymore, btw.

It really jaded my thinking. It made no sense to go work for my 100k per year when I could go win that much in 30 days. (Got where I could lose that much too, and did pretty regularly).

When I quit my job, I'd say I was going to work. Work for the next 2 years was about 10 hours in a blackjack pit, per day. :Q
