Have you ever walked out on a movie before?

I was hanging around with my cousin in 1989 and we were looking for something to do. We decided to go to the movies to get out of the summer sun. There wasnt really anything interesting playing so we just chose anything - "Born on the 4th of July".

I tried to watch that movie. I didnt want to throw my money away. But after about half an hour of suffering and noticing that my cousin had his eyes closed and was about to take a nap, we decided just to gtfo of there. The movie was that boring. I havent been able to watch it since.

no, but i have stopped watching one i rented from Netflix and sent it back without finishing it. Some bad movies out there.

would have for armageddon but was forced to stay

did for transformers with the help of my friend, i didn't care either way

did for free willy to watch jurassic park instead, movie guy caught me about 15 minutes later (I was like 7)

and born on the 4th of july is a great movie

I cant remember if I have, BUT I saw Solaris the Clooney remake in the theater, and all 3 of us sat through the entire thing. We watched as others walked out, none of us brought it up but after it was over we all were thinking the same thing, that we should of walked out.

Let me guess, was it:

Dances with Wolves

Three Men and a Baby

Dirty Dancing

or

Ghost?

I couldnt watch any of those movies either, even though everybody and their dog saw them back in the 80s/90s.

i've walked out on a will farrell and a movie and a ben stiller movie, don't remember what they were called.

Im preemptive on Will Farrell and Ben Stiller movies.

i have not walked out of a movie when i ever i watch them at the movie theater. At home though, when i rent films, thats a different story. I usually fast forward films that I find crappy, or slow.

I think shoot em up is really the only ever film i've never watched completely. i had it in my dvd player, got bored with it, kept it playing in the dvd player while i watched some TV. I started watching the movie again and was like, oh, didn't miss much even though 40 or so min elapsed.

Only 2.

Walked out in theaters: World Trade Center
Stopped watching a rented DVD: Ballistic: Ecks Vs. Sever

none of those. there have been a few but i can't remember which.

In a theatre, no.

I guess it's because if i spent the money, i don't like the idea of leaving.

But really, when i go see movies in theatres, i don't go to ones i won't like, unless with friends who want to see something i don't like.

Walked out of the re-release of the original Star Wars trilogy when it was remastered in THX, pre special editions. Don't get me wrong, but I crammed for a final the night before, and after the finals we went to catch a marathon at the theaters. Fell asleep during Empire, and woke up during the rolling intro for ROTJ. I figured it was time to go.

I really wanted to walk out of "Driven" with Sly. But we all thought it was going to get better. Nope, it was horrible.

Holy bolloxing shit that movie was bad! ...but I still watched it.

I forced myself to watch it just because it was bad. The scuttlebutt was that it was the worst movie ever made and I just had to see if that was true. I concur with the reviews. It's so monumentally bad, so utterly screwed-up, so completely without any merit that every movie fan should watch it for the experience. Anyone that whines about movie x or movie y being the worst movie ever is just proving that they have not seen Ecks Vs. Sever. That's the undisputed king of bad.
