It's nasty in taste, isn't it? Last night I went to my gf's nephew's b-day party. I was in line gathering food when I came across some pizza. Normally they just order from Pizaa Hut but I saw something that you could get from Sams Club or Costco. I picked up a bunch because I was hung over and hungry. I put it into my mouth, bit down, chewed, and almost immediately puked. The entire bottom of the pizza was burnt to black. At this point I did not want to return the remainding pizza so, I took it and left it on my plate. I went inside thinking oh well I can at least eat the toppings off of the top of the pizza. I was wrong. I scraped the toppings off of the pizza, tried to eat them, and basically had one of the most nastiest tastes I've ever had, ever.

I guess the fumes of the burnt bottom seaped up into the toppings which made it taste horrendous!

Sort of silmilar, my dad decided it was a good idea to use wax paper to cover the pan instead of foil. After a minute or so, it started smoking. I switched back to old reliable foil, but the pizza tasted horrible! Needless to say I always use foil not and avoid my dad's "advice".

That's nasty. I always make the mistake of not cooking the pizza long enough just to avoid that taste but then I get the dough taste. That's almost as bad.....not quite though. :D

And when you're hungover? That's just criminal to feed something like that to you.

they probably left the cardboard on the bottom of the pizza, and it burned.

just a guess.
