no but my bro was in jail for a few hours driving without a license and he pretended he was me. Told the cop all my personal info and when the cop told my bro that it was a crime to impersonate someone he fessed up. It cost him $500 to get out of jail that I put up.

Thought I might in Japan (passed out drunk in the street) but apparently that happens all the time there, so they just drove me half way across Kyoto to my hotel

Nicest cops ever!

I have.....December 9, 2003. it was a week after my 19th birthday. Im sure eli told you guys all about it. then i went on vacation the week before my court date and got iced in...that was in washington, and i couldnt get back to portland. I didnt realize that i had a warrant, even though i should have known. I was on my way to work (walking down the sidewalk mind you) on mothers day 2005 and i got stopped by a cop. he asked for my id....gave it back and let me go.....a block later he stops me and arrests me in the middle of the street. I missed that day of work obviously....ugh.....it was so embarrassing.

Got bench probation and a thousand dollar fine...almost done with it..thank god....got $200 left to pay on it.

Charmed..

Ps. and misdemeanors stay on your record for either three or five years before you dont have to report it anymore...cant remember which

Fine, I'll comment now since somebody stepped up.

6 times jailed. All misdemenors (sp?), no longer than 4 days (damn holiday weekends)

No more than a few hours in a cell after arrest, only minor things. I have also been chased by a police helicopter.

only once, when i was still a juvenile. spent a night in some queens, new york, jail. pleaded guilty the next day, was sentenced to one year probation with what i think they called a sealed record, meaning if i stayed out of trouble for a year, they'd throw the record away. i did, and so now i'm clean.

I've been in jail quite a few times over the years for both arrests and to serve time, and thought I was a tough guy. 24 hours in Central Booking was enough to convince me otherwise. I haven't done anything to go back in nearly 8 years.

That's what they all say!

Your poll is asking a different question than your OP. I have spent a night in jail, but I don't have a criminal record.

Well, to finally answer the question; I have no criminal record and I have never spent a night in jail, I have however spent some time in a mental hospital.

I spent a horroriying 3 days in jail. It's amazing what you see and hear in there. It was a holiday weekend and they wouldn't take a check. I was drunk and trying to break up a fight, and became involved in it. They took all of us to jail.

What exactly did you see and hear in there, if you don't mind me asking? Sounds eerie.

Also spent 3 days in jail.. NYC Central Booking.. Over thanksgiving weekend 2000. No judge came in until Saturday morning due to the holiday.. It really sucked at the time, but in retrospect it was kind of a cool experience.. Lots of funny stories... Wouldnt want to go through it again though.

Just the stories of the other people in there. Everything from an eighteen year old being charged with kidnapping for eloping with his seventeen year old girlfriend. I don't know what came of that, but it sounds fishy on both ends. And another guy who had skipped parole in Colorado, and just the lives they led. They weren't all criminals first, they were people who have made some incredibly stupid decisions, and now are paying for them. It was just eyeopening. There I was I just tried to stop two guys I knew from ripping each other apart.
